Cardio Mix - This class is a mixture of cardio training to burn those calories.
Core Cardio Fusion- This class is a fun challenging mix of yoga postures, strength moves with dumbbells and bands, balance moves and plyometrics combined with a bosu balance ball or therapy ball. Prior exercise experience is recommended, but not necessary.
Healthways SilverSneakers Cardio Circuit - Cardiovascular exercise is the highlight of the class. The class features upper body strength workouts using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and the Healthways SilverSneaker's ball. Non-impact aerobic activity is included. Members addressing cardio and respiratory ailments will find the exercises safe and effective for both the heart and lungs. A chair is available for support and head-to-toe stretching. (Class for Healthways SilverSneakers members only.)
Healthways SilverSneakers Muscular Strength - This class offers something for everyone regardless of fitness level. It can help improve strength, flexibility and balance resulting in your ability to stay healthy and maintain your independence. The instructor guides you through exercises with resistance tools at your own pace. A chair is available for seated and /or standing support, stretching and relaxation. (Class for Healthways SilverSneakers members only.)
Healthways SilverSneakers Yoga - A special yoga class in which you learn gentle, effective stretching that can help you maintain joint flexibility and prevent injury. Increasing your muscular endurance will also improve muscle tone. The restorative breathing exercise will help you relax physically and mentally. (Class for Healthways SilverSneakers members only.)
Pilates - Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without building muscle bulk. This class improves your mental and physical well-being as well as your flexibility and strength.
Sculpt - A full body sculpt class using dumbbells / body bars that will tone and sculpt your body to improve strength and endurance levels.
Yoga - (Beginner level) Yoga will be introduced at a beginner level providing poses with modifications and more explanation with less complex transitions. The participants will link several poses together in a Vinyasa style to create endurance, strength, balance and flexibility.
Yoga Fit - This is an active beginner's class designed to increase your strength, balance and flexibility. The class flows through basic postures at a moderate pace, including standing, kneeling and seated postures then ending with a short relaxation. Appropriate for all levels.
Vinyasa Yoga - This yoga is a flow or dance of positions also called postures or sun salutations, synchronized with your breathing. This class is tailored for beginners to advanced participants, allowing you to challenge yourself to your own degree of difficulty.
Zumba - This class is a Low to High Aerobic Dance class combining Latin and International Music with a combination of slow and fast rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Come join the fun while getting in shape.
Zumba Gold - This class uses your favorite Latin and International music and is geared for the active older adult or the tired mom population or true beginner participant. LOW IMPACT ZUMBA!
Zumba Toning- Come party with your favorite Latin and International music blending specific Zumba moves with body-sculpting techniques. This class utilizes weighted, maraca-like Zumba sticks to build strength and enhance rhythm.
